The Ocala Symphony Orchestra is announcing the winners of the 24th Annual Young Artist Competition. The Junior Division Winner is xylophonist Adam Langs, age 12, from Lake Mary, FL. Langs performed Fantasy on Japanese Wood Prints, Op. 211 by Alan Hovhaness. The Senior Division Winner is clarinetist Brandon Mosley, age 21, from Jacksonville, FL. Opening weekend of the Ocala Symphony Orchestra’s 37th subscription concert season, A Brave New World, will begin with the exploration of America in its early beginnings.
